The Core Girl’s last name comes from the Core Worlds where Humanity concentrated its wealth and power after the First Diaspora. Their Father was a Corporate Military intelligence analyst who discovered something that got him killed. Their mother, an ex-corporate Marine Sargent, not wanting her daughters to become indentured to the megacorps and conglomerates, escaped out to the rim worlds of the Milkyway Galaxy.
She registered under a fake name Milisa Core, giving the names of her daughters as Shandra Core and Cassandra (Cassie) Core. Her Husband’s murder weighed heavy on her heart, but he would understand protecting the girls came first.
Now that they were older she began to feel it was time to seek his murderer. Now that the girls were fully trained, it may be time to tell them what advantages were given to them by Core World medical advancements. Now maybe time to reveal the Secretes that lie within their Uber Genome.
